These are such sassy little pieces. 925 silver turkish tassles, faceted czech glass rondells and swarovski bicone crystals. The colours of the crystals are violet and blue. An ice queen no doubt but definitely eye candy. Drop of almost 7 cm.

I didn't expect the combination of prehnite and smokey quartz to look so pleasing to the eye or that they could actually complement one another. Here I've topped a faceted smokey quartz rectangle measuring 5mm x 10 mm with a 4mm faceted prehnite rondell, and used a similar prehnite rondell as a connector between the ear hoops and earwires. Hoops are textured vermeil whilst the earwires and pins are 14k goldfill. Total drop is around 6 cm and this pair is quite sleek and neither bulky nor heavy. My kind of ear dressing =D

Putting my 'necklace' beads aside for a bit, I've been working on earrings - both custom and new orders. Featured here is a pair of faceted tourmalinated quartz brios with black rutiles criss crossing inside the quartz stones. Topping these interesting stones are bevelled coin shape garnet stones with a single moonstone rondell separating the garnet. All accents finished in 925 silver and gentle drop of approx 3.5 cm

Smooth minty green amethyst nuggets swing from marquis frames which have been threadled with faceted garnet rondels on the outer side of each frame. These earrings have a 5.5 cm drop with all metal accents in 14k goldfilled finish.

I've tried different lighting, with/without my light tent but I fail to capture the purple-ness of the purple agate nuggets. To liven up the smokey purple tones I've added amethyst nuggets and rondels and same tone polymer clay lentils. Sultry and smokey.

OUR TREE

I took time out from my 'creations' to put up our Christmas tree. My son felt that if he didn't push me hard enough I'd remain glued to my work table ;p

We changed the location of our tree this year. Usually its placed in the recess of a bay window but we decided to do some relocation of furniture and the tree now sits at the entrance to our living room. Today I would have to put away the boxes you see strewn in the background and place the skirt around the base. Almost done, we just need to place the Christmas star at the top of the tree and will probably be done tonight.

This is a versatile piece. The necklace comprises smooth tourmalinated quartz round beads and micro faceted white chalcedony. Measuring 15" from end to end, the centerpiece is a faceted black obsidian with silver wirework and measures approx 1" with a 1/2" marquis frame from which it hangs.

I just love this yummy burst of sunshiney colours. Like creamy, sweet pumpkin mash........ Faceted translucent beautiful agate nuggets separated by goldplated beads. On one side is a mixture of prehnite smooth nuggets and 3 round polymer clay beads. On the other side is an oval faceted green tourmalinated quartz bead. Approx. 19" ending with a vermeil toggle.

Colours much richer in reality. The flashes in the citrine nuggets are very evident but not obvious in this photo.

These tourmalinated beads are really lovely but I haven't captured the black tourmaline strands in the stones.

Subtle shades of lemons and limes embrace 2 polymer clay lentils in this bracelet creation. Whilst the faceted rectangle beads look like semi precious stones or glass they are actually made of resin and I picked them up during my trip to Perth. A lone czech glass moss green faceted bead sits at the end of this bracelet. The bar of the toggle features olive jade and aventurine stones. Much prettier colours in reality.

Multicoloured small agate stones for the handmade toggle bar and a 'hammered' pewter hoop for the other end of the toggle. Measuring approx 7-1/4" this definitely won't go unnoticed on your wrist.
