I was tidying up my work space last night before flying off for my short holiday today and came across these flaming carnellians which I had not put away in a box so I decided to use that plus the beads from whatever boxes I had on my table. I picked small freshwater pearls, faceted peridot, carnellian and peach moonstone rondells and hung them all on small oval hoops. Like peaches and cream with a hint of mint. Small drop of 4 cm. All metal components 14k goldfill.

Translucent wavy, flat yellow agate nuggets separated by goldplated bicone beads and towards the front I've given the lemon shade a nice twist by adding lime green handmade artisan lampwork beads. Pretty and fresh. 16"

Smouldering, smokey faceted gemstone quality twist briolettes, faceted tsavorite rondells. Like liquified dark choclate dripping off a 14kgoldfilled diamond shape frame which has goldfilled wire coiling and 10 faceted tsavorite rondells adorning the lower half of each frame. 14k goldfilled metal accents. Dropping at slightly over 5 cm these are not going unnoticed.

'm quite happy I managed to capture the violet hues of these faceted amethyst briolettes. Elegantly poised below 14k goldfill wavy tubes they are crowned with faceted moonstone rondells. All metal components are 14k goldfill and this pair drops elegantly at 5 cm.

This gives a rather accurate image of the tone of the quartz rondells. Whilst they are transparent and clear there is a blue/green undertone which is very obvious at certain angles.

Beautiful golden quartz faceted rondels hanging off a 14k gold hooped chain. These rondells are amazing in reality. With the colour tone of blue/green fluorite they have gold dust rutiles running thru them. I don't think the rutiles are inherent in the stone and have been introduced some how but they're just gorgeous stones in reality. The rondells have a diameter of approximately 18 mm and the total drop of these little beauties is 4.5 cm

My flavour of the month looks like its the noble agate. I am fascinated by the bands,swirls,concentric circles and all the other bits and bobs that I find in these amazing stones. Here I've used smooth oval pacific agate stones boasting a smokey plum tone in almost 80% of the stones including the irregular freeform faceted nugget I've used as a showpiece at the side. Necklace measures approx 19" and can be shortened but not lengthened as I've used all the stones on the strand I purchased.

I haven't decided what I want to do with this. I might keep it for myself or I might put it up for sale. In the meantime, enjoy the sight. I'm just fascinated by the colour at the moment so I'll spend a little time admiring them before I add in the toggle fastener. An amazing set of beads with a colour tone to die for. Plum turquoise wavy oval stones, ruby zoisite faceted rondells as spacers and delicious 16 mm smooth round berry jade. Just delicious.

I know its a corny name but this is exactly what these flaming translucent microfaceted carnellian briolettes remind me of ...... juicy little sacs of orange juice. Briolettes measure approx 10 mm. i tried to hold these up to show they're more translucent than opaque but didn't do a good job so just take my word for it =D I've decided to keep these simple since the stones are quite lovely by themselves. Suspended by sterling silver twisted rod chain, these drop at 5 cm. Sterling silver earwires Elegant chic.

I've combined deep plum smooth agate barrels for the centre piece, smokey quartz faceted rondells, plus tone jasper, smokey quartz teardrops and the two strands being caught by a single strand of smokey quartz rondell before passing thru a carnellian oval shaped donut with a smooth agate rondell in the centre of the donut. I'd like you all to meet Pansy. I hired her today to be my necklace model. She looks kind of pale at the moment and thats because she hasn't been getting much sun. She's extremely obedient - "Stay Still Pansy" and she does just that. Just a perfect model. Now I can showcase my work on the lovely neck of Pansy.

In this photo, she models a lovely red banded agate necklace - faceted banded red agate ovals and smooth banded (although this doesn't show the inclusions on the round beads, they are present)round agate stones. Beautiful tone. This measures approximately 16" and each bead is separated by a tiny silver cube.
