As a child, I imagined the perfect Christmas to be one that was one filled with snow covered grounds and snowmen and fireplaces. I don't doubt that it must be fun to have some snow, be able to build snowmen, toast marshmallows and drink hot choclate by the fireplace whilst it snows outside, but as an adult, the reality is that Christmas is a season of hope, of salvation and of love and peace. To me Christmas is the festival of the human heart; a rebirth of our soul. No matter who you are, your heart cannot resist the beauty of a Christmas tree or bask in the glow of the holiday lights.

Historically, Christmas commemorates the birth of Jesus of Nazareth to a young maiden from Galilee.

Theologically,Christmas is the celebration of the incarnation of God in Jesus the Christ, the self-revelation of God to the world in human form for the reconciliation of humanity to Himself.

During this season, we subconsciously have a different take on life - whilst choosing a particular gift for a loved one or a friend or colleague, we feel overwhelmed and fulfilled whilst wrapping each gift and making an effort to make our gifts look special.

As Christians we should look upon this season as messengers of light and love, to resolve to be shining examples.

In our words and in our actions we should exemplify the true meaning of Christmas not just for this period but through our daily life. I am respectful of the fact that each of us is different and we choose different paths and I hope by my life and my actions I show that at the end of the day we are all the same.

TO EVERY ONE WHO HAS TOUCHED MY LIFE, OR WHO JUST DROPS BY TO ADMIRE MY WORK -

A HAPPY AND BLESSED CHRISTMAS TO YOU AND YOUR LOVED ONES.

I will be taking the rest of the week off as I've got tonnes of stuff to do but I will make an effort to respond to your email at the end of each day.
