I was going to use these in a necklace creation but felt it might do equally well in a pair of earrings. The resul blew me away. Very Peranakan looking (according to a friend who stopped by this morning, and I have to agree). I've added beautiful maroon freshwater pearls as 'garnish' and suspended the filigree frames by goldfilled french earwires.
Filigree frames measure 4 cm by 2.5 cm across and the total drop is 6 cm. A stunner!
