I would like to do a post on the meaning of Easter -most of us know that it symbolises Jesus Christ's victory over death when he rose 3 days after he died on Good Friday after being hung on the cross - on its origins up to our beliefs today. I will however not do that as I'm no theologian, nor am I confident enough not to say something out of context. I will however, say that I believe that Easter symbolises new life, new beginnings. The meaning of Easter, for millions of Christians, is that of honoring and recognizing Jesus Christ's resurrection from the dead, and His glorious promises of eternal life for all who believe in Him.

On that third day—the day we now celebrate as Easter Sunday—His friends went to His grave, but instead of finding His body, they found an open tomb with no body in it. In fact, what they saw was an angel who told them, “Don’t be afraid! I know you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He isn’t here! He has been raised from the dead, just as He said it would happen” (Matthew 28:5, 6).
I will be attending service at 5 pm so till then........... A BLESSED & HAPPY EASTER TO ALL!
