MORNING TRIVIA

The photo at the top shows my husband up on a very, very tall ladder, making sure that there were no leaves choking up the gutters and no water where mosquitoes could breed. There has been a rise in the number of dengue cases so we are mindful of any areas that could be potential breeding grounds for mosquitoes.

I always have my heart in my mouth when he climbs the extendable fireman's ladder. It might not look very high but in actual fact it is at quite a height that he has to climb to reach the roof gutters.

The other photo shows Anis our domestic helper, holding on to the ladder - I know its not part of her job description but I was amused to see her casually resting against the ladder and making like she's holding up the ladder. I'm sure her intentions were good.
