Freshwater pearls and gold........I've cupped a large freshwater pearl into a lovely goldplated bead cap, topped that by another 2 smaller freshwater pearls and hooked the arrangement up by a 14k goldfilled ear wire. Almost bridal, this delicate piece measures just 4.5 cm or barely 2". Although I have no intentions of classifying this as 'vintage' the combo of gold and pearls just lends a certain old world charm to this creation.
