A wet and cool afternoon in usually sunny Singapore. This sort of weather just makes me feel oh so lethargic but I've still to sort thru' boxes and bags of beads. Came across these 'snakeskin jasper' beads. Coin shape smooth stones in a lovely olive/fern green tone with brown and sand tones in some of them. To perk up this earthy set of stones I've chosen 'vintage' goldplated beads from Japan. The gold beads are quite frankly 'old'. I purchased them about 4 years ago and they were already listed as 'vintage'. Excellent plating with no signs of fading/tarnish even though I stored them loosely in a drawer with other plated findings. This creation measures approx 16" and ends with a gold filled toggle.
