Not the most 'perfect' creation but its mine and my first pair of hand forged hoops and earwires. Using pure brass wire in different gages, the wire was oxidised and then I de-burred the edges and polished off the excess black oxide. The best part? Hammering. Loved the sound of the hammer as it made contact with the wire and the anvil. The anvil was acquired for me by my husband from his buddy George, our neighbour. Solid piece, smooth and even polished. I have renewed respect for the artisans whose work involve tonnes of coiling and wirework. This would be child's play for them but we all start with baby steps. 35 minutes to go before the delayed telecast of AI. Bubye Xxxxx!
