Whilst I enjoyed creating this pair I also learnt that this is a bit bold for a first attempt. A few friends who saw the WIP felt it looked like stained glass and I like that image too. Faceted earthy tone tourmaline rondells woven into a vermeil hoop and finished off with a faceted gold tourmalinated quartz briolette. Briolettes measure approx 11 mm, vermeil rings measure approx 18 mm and the drop is around 4.5 cm. Wirework and all metal findings apart from the gold ring are 14k goldfilled.
