Sometimes, as a crafter, I acquire beads or gemstones or findings that I am loathe to part with because I don't think I'll ever be able to find something similar and then reality sets in when I look at my humongous hoard of beads and I make an economic decision and make something pretty with the item. This is a case in point. Oro verde or green gold is how I'd describe these oval, pointy back lemon quartz with the most beautiful facets. I've teamed them up with faceted carnellian brios, smokey quartz and zircon rondells and gold filled chains.
