I'd like to wish my Muslim friends Selamat Aidilfitri and a sincere hope for Peace and Harmony throughout the world.

I decided not to let such a beautiful day - cool with filtered sunlight - go to waste so I rummaged around and decided to create something a little 'vintagey'.  All over Singapore there's a beautiful burst of colour as Muslim families don their Hari Raya outfits to visit relatives and friends.  At lunch I saw such beautiful colour combinations and was inspired to do up something in the colours of the beautiful fabrics that were made up into the traditional baju kurung or kebaya.

MELODI features Vintaj bead caps/wire and czech glass beads.  No gemstones have been used hence the very attractive price........well all my items are priced attractively :D

This piece measures 35" and the 'piece de resistance' would have to be the gorgeous repurposed butterfly pin.

SEAFOAM BL2066-14 S$88 SOLD

Inspired by the gorgeous shades of blue/green in this photo, I dug out my faceted cushion cut green onyx - the colour in reality is a beautiful jade green.....showing up on my monitor as a lousy green tone :( - and added to it green onyx, apatite and natural chalcedony.

Cushion gems measure 2cm x 1.5 cm.  Drop - 6cm

IRINA BL2065-14 S$80 SOLD

Taking a break from some custom pieces, this is a cool set of earrings featuring deep blue (probably heat treated to enhance the colour but definitely colour fast) lapis baguettes measuring 24mm x 8mm and I've toned down these stunners with an array of brios and a couple of rondells.  Embellishments include London blue topaz, lapis, chrysoprase and deep blue sapphires.  These measure 53mm from post to base of baguettes.

JULIE - CUSTOM ORDER

Everyday is an opportunity......new day, new month, new beginnings...........I'll start out the new month on a pretty note.......I always do......always trying to be positive and always looking on the bright side.........
This is a pair of lovely earrings comprising different shapes, colours, surface finishing......briolettes.  The focals are a pair of smooth shocking pink quartz and the rest of the menagerie are also briolettes......prehnite, carnellian, peridot, amethyst, rose quartz garnet and pink quartz......how much more cheery can we get? Have a good day/evening everyone!
