ANEMONE BL2090-14 S$85 SOLD

This is the beautiful flower Anemone.

According to the Oxford English Dictionary, Greek anemōnē means "daughter of the wind", from ánemosthe wind god "wind" + feminine patronymic suffix -ōnē.[4] The Metamorphoses ofOvid tells that the plant was created by the goddess Venus when she sprinkled nectar on the blood of her dead lover Adonis. The name "windflower" is used for the whole genus as well as the wood anemone A. nemorosa....http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anemone.  

 I love the vibrant purple.  In my creation of the earrings ANEMONE, I've teamed truly outstanding trillion cut amethyst brios with equally vibrant genuine malachite (vs laboratory created stones which are equally beautiful) teardrops.  The beauty of this set is the drilling of the holes in the brios.  I've used that to 'hang' these stones to show them off to the max.  Accompanying these brios are rondelles - pink amethyst/garnet/quartz/rubies.  

 The earrings drop at around 58mm.

These jade beads range in tone from palest of greens to slightly darker ones and at least one gorgeous lavender tone bead.  I've done this up in a simple, elegant classic style with a couple of carved barrels and a delicately crstal quartz encrusted side focal.  Let the photos speak for themself.

Another set of beautifully carved rainbow mother of pearl ovals measuring approx 20mm x 30mm, dainty robin's egg blue turquoise faceted ovals measuring approx 10mm x 8mm and a little cluster of freshwater keishi pearls, pink opal and pink topaz rondelles.  A lovely pair of crystal studded ear studs finish off this very feminine pair.  Drop - 5.5cm

A lively festive piece featuring plum and white freshwater pearls.  Polymer clay lentils featuring flowers on one side and butterflies on the other, in the same tone are added together with a cluster of garnet, rose quartz and light peridot rondells.  Necklace slips over head without fastener so the side focal can be adjusted to a position that you favour without showing any fastener.

JOY BL2086-14 S$95 SOLD

Today has been a super productive day for me.  I completed many pieces which I had started on a couple of weeks ago for some custom orders and then whilst I had my rose gold wire out I decided to do up another necklace using that tone of wire.  I selected some irregular shape tourmalline nuggets and linked them all up with rose gold plated over sterling silver wire and added a lovely rose gold pave leaf connector.  Reall pretty combo.

Necklace measures approx 18"/46cm and the cubic zirconia pave leaf measures approx 3.5 x 1.5cm.

The weekend's here!  Sun, sand and sea for some of us, weather permitting so I've been inspired likewise to create something that covers the elements.

The focal of this pair of earrings is the rainbow Tahitian black lip oyster shell coins with clover cut outs.  I've teamed this with a set of angel skin coral briolettes.  To add a little more oomph, I've included rondells of shaded carnellian, apatite and labradorite and smokey quartz.

JULIA BL2084-14 S$90 SOLD

Smooth, glossy and each piece having its own beautiful properties.  These unique stones are a class of chalcedony.......they are petrified palm wood.  I read some amazing facts when I researched and read up about these gorgeous beauties.  This is the state stone of Texas and official state fossil of Louisiana.  Who'd have known!!  The stones used here are between 35mm for the smallest oval and 42mm for the largest centrepiece.  Gold vermeil twisted spacers and faceted black agate beads separate the stones.  Necklace measures slightly under 20".  Ends with a gold vermeil toggle set.

HYACINTH BL2083-14 S$88 SOLD

It has been a challenge for someone like me who isn't very masterful when it comes to capturing close up shots of my work........anyhow, I think you'd be able to visualise this gorgeous pair better after I've described it to you.  Tanzanite (a gorgeous tone of purplish blue) tone carved quartz drops measuring approx 9mm x 17mm with a burst of rondelles in complementary tones - tanzanite, pink topaz, amethyst and smokey quartz - and a faceted aquamarine coin measuring approx 5mm.  This falls off a floral, cubic zirconia earstud.  Drop of 4.5cm.

Took a few more photos.  These are a clearer impression of the colours/stones used.

LIZA - CUSTOM ORDER

This is a hand knotted 2 tone freshwater pearl necklace completed without a fastener.  I deliberately did that so the user can adjust the necklace to wear the necklace any which way she prefers.  Slips easily over the head and measures 29".  As this is completed using silk cord, the 'drape' is beautiful.

LIANNE BL2082-14 S$98 SOLD

I've been hoarding these for a while but as there's been a delay of my shipments from HK I decided to go ahead and take these out and create something with them.  Gorgeous paisley brios aren't they?  Carved pink jade flat brios measuring approx 23 x 16mm, a smooth black onyx 4 leave clover bead and a topping of black spinel, pink tourmaline and pink sapphire rondells.  Gorgeous cubic zirconia crystal encrusted flat earstuds complete this set.

SOPHIE BL2081-14 S$95 SOLD


It's already October!  Can't believe the year's just flown by!   Lots of work to be done before the holiday season creeps up and I look forward to creating lots of stuff for gifts as well as for our own personal use.

Here I've completed a lovely necklace featuring sterling silver components and gorgeous wavy agate stones from Crysallis Gems.  They range from a soft grey thru' shades of lilac/mauve.

This piece measures approx 17" and is what I call an evergreen classic.  Never goes out of style.  Worn inside a shirt collar or on a neckline with bar shoulders.
