I spent a fair bit of time on this piece and then had to run some errands and by the time I got home the sun had gone down on me so I turned the light tent every which way just hoping to catch some remaining sunlight but obviously it hasn't worked. The necklace on the model shows how little natural light was left when I struggled with the photo taking.
Anyway, these gorgeous nuggets are 'hammered' African Amethyst nuggets and a really nice size. I love the raw look of these stones. I've kept it simple, added a sterling silver twisted side focal with little clusters of quartz rondelles to complement the whole arrangement. Sterling silver, chain, spacers and fastener. 18" from end to end.
