I returned from a lunch outing to find several brown packages addressed to me. I am expecting fresh supplies so I thought that thats what it was. How pleasant my surprise was when I found one rather puffy envelope from someone in Singapore!! A package of true 'vintage' buttons. These are things I used to admire when I was a kid. My sister and I had a blessed childhood because my mum is fantastic with fabrics. We had matching dresses and all the ribbons/lace/ric rac/buttons that a girl could ever hope for. She sewed her own stuff too and buttons like this were a constant amusement for us. The colours, shapes, texture - now I see it all again in these cards sent to me by 'I'! Thank you very, very much! I will use them so keep a keen eye out
