This photo and the close up give a true impression of the stones. When I set my eyes on them I was fascinated by the unusual inclusions on the beads. I have been told that these are faceted agate with some polishing to bring out the next layer of stone. As I've never seen this before I have to take the man's word for it. Whatever it is, its a lovely, unusual set of beads. I've teamed them with black onyx and silver and the creation is very attractive in reality. The necklace measures 16" from end to end and secures with a toggle.
