Happy April!  How quickly time flies.  Starting off the month of showers with a lovely - yup, collage doesn't show it to be - Ametrine nuggets holding up a gorgeous jewelled butterfly.  Ametrine is a combo of Amethyst and Citrine in one stone....these nuggets measure between 14mm - 19mm.  In reality the stones are lovely shades of either Amethyst or a comination of Amethyst and Citrine.  The citrine in this set is a pale gold....beautiful if seen in person.  The butterfluy measures approx 4cm x 6cm.  Necklace length is approx 23"/58cm

As promised, I'm back on track.  Finished off some backlog and completed a gorgeous new pair.  These fan shape brios are green gold, faceted ametrine. Guarding these beauties are a bevy of pretty little rondells - smokey quartz, peridot, citrine, labradorite and pyrite.  Vermeil concentric circle spacers are added for a bit of fascinating embellishment. 

These beauties drop @ approx 5cm or 2"

This is a very 'tropical' creation in that it has the colours of local ferns/evergreens. Shades of green, yellow, gold and brown. 

The focals here are shaded yellow/green ametrine - 24 carats and measuring approx 23mm x 14mm.  The accompanying rondells are shaded tourmaline - autumn tone, peridot, lemon quartz, hessonite garnet.

These kite shape gemstones are brilliantly faceted and the colours are amazing as they catch the light and the golden hues suddenly turn green and then gold and then yellow......
