Compliments of the season to everybody!  Hope you've had a great time with friends and family.

Now that Christmas Day is officially over and everyone would have/should have received their gifts, I am now able to showcase these bracelet cuffs.  Reason being I had a corporate order for a whole lot of these cuffs but they were to be kept 'confidential' till the girls received their gifts.  Showing something new would automatically set off bells as the organizing committee took suggestions and I was one of the crafters commissioned to work on the gifts.

The bracelet cuffs are gold plated - made in Korea, excellent plating and I've used a wide variety of embellishments.........crystals, semi precious stones,lucite, resin, freshwater pearls, glass pearls, shell pearls, czech glass, fabric, leather........

I'm  putting up 2 pieces today to kick start these pieces.

FLAME - CUSTOM ORDER

This fiery creation comprises czech glass beads, some vintage,some not so vintage. All the shades of the colour orange, brass chains, pins and clasp. This bracelet design is from a series I made some time back but its an 'evergreen' in terms of design and you'll never get bored of admiring the large variety of shapes and forms and I never get bored recreating this in any colour.

Its but a beautiful and cool albeit wet day over here in my space on the island and whilst its not the best day for photo taking, it is an absolutely lovely day for me to be out in the garden doing whatever needs to be done.....I've neglected it so!

This gorgeous bracelet, struggling to stand out in these clouded photos, comprises blue green sea foam + rose quartz, vermeil encased gemstones. Simple yet classic and outstanding in its own way. Goldfilled wire, chain, links.

A request for a bracelet using jade or a stone close to jade. These are diamond shape, faceted chrysoprase +/- 10mm from point to point. 3/4"extension chain with a faceted chrysoprase brio at the end.

To fulfill a request for a black onyx bracelet I selected these unusual shaped stones from my box of onyx beads and teamed it with gorgeous faceted pink amethyst ovals measuring 1cm x 5mm. This focal arrangement is worn slightly off centre. In the centre of the 2 pink amethyst stones are a cluster of black onyx and shaded pink amethyst rondells.

Another custom order that I completed today. Whilst I'm redoing past creations, I usually take a break when I'm inspired and start work on whatever comes to mind. This is a very new request.....actually its for a black tourmaline bracelet but the closest I've got is this very dark green which is quite gorgeous in reality. It appears black but its a deep deep green and only when the stones catch the light are you able to see the lighter green tourmaline crystals in the stone. I've teamed this up with multi coloured tourmaline rondells and briolettes and because the new owner has really petite wrists, I've used a lobster claw and a gold filled extender chain. At the end of the chain is a deep red garnet.

Isn't this a fantastic vision to start the week. Chockaful of gorgeous gems, this bracelet measures a llittle more than 7½" but its not longer than usual, as its not a flat bracelet and sits perfectly on wrists that measure around 6 - 6½" in circumference. The gemfull concoction is filled with white, peach, grey moonstones, frosted champagne quartz, carnellian, grapefruit quartz, labradorite, bits of irregular lengths of gold filled chain and matte gold tone faceted briolettes in between. A mouthful of juicy, delectable gemstones.
