Another beautiful day in Singapore, lovely cool winds, soft sun shining through the clouds and pretty low humidity....thats the weather out where I'm located and it might not be across the island.

The weather is prompting me to the fact that Christmas is around the corner and whilst we aren't affected by the Seasons, it does feel Autumn-y.

Inspired by the 'season' I decided to do up a set of earrings that would be reflective of how I see the day.  Autumn shades - green, yellow, orange in various shades.  Faceted carnellian kites, tsavorite brios, onyx,dark carnellian, lemon quartz and aqua tone rondells.  
The lovely lightweight polymer clay coins measure approx 15mm in diameter.  Perfect little beauties for earrings.  The total drop for this pair is 7 cm.  Might as well show off these stunners!

Yesterday evening brought showers that were welcome after a few weeks of dry, hot weather. It was very wet but pleasantly cool in the area where we live. The heavy downpour, might or might not have been the reason for our internet connection going thru' several hours of 'down time'. As most of Singapore is now connected 'wire-lessly' it was most frustrating calling in to the service provider and to receive a message that there was an overwhelming number of calls and all their operators were otherwise engaged etc. and to be patient and send an email..........send an email???? How???? Anyway, there was no point in getting frustrated way past bedtime so I just called it a night and went to bed. Thankfully, everythings been reset and we're back on track or online to be precise.

These beauties are like the cool showers we had yesterday that quenched our parched soils. Faceted amazonite coins in a clear sky blue sitting almost perfectly in the centre of textured non-tarnish brass hoops. From a chain 2 swarovski faceted bicone crystals in complementary colours drip. All metal components used are from Vintaj and the drop is approx 4 cm. Diameter of hoop is 2 cm.

I've been unusually busy with all sorts of things these last couple of days and have only found a little time this afternoon to garner some creative energy to work on a pair of earrings. Ruby zoisite coins measuring approx 2 cm are threadled thru' with a daisy base vermeil pin. A satin finish vermeil wavy flower spacer sits atop each coin bead and is finished off with a faceted ruby rondell. Looking like a million bucks, this lush creation dangles off goldfilled earwires. Dropping shyly at 4 cm, they're generously loaded with pretty findings and outrageously underpriced.
