Can you believe it?  We're embarking on the 2nd half of the year 2014 in less than 24 hours!  My last creation for May is this refreshing number........32 carats of an olive tone quartz with excellent faceting, cut and polish.  Approx 20mm x 17 mm, I've used moonstones, carnellians, garnet and smokey quartz as embellishment.  A lovely goldfilled forever knot connector holds the creation to the quartz embellished clover earstuds.  Drop of approx 5cm

We can all feel 'Spring' in the air even if we live on different sides of the big pond..........the side that under normal circumstances has just one season........summer, sometimes with rain.

This is a little mood perker.........refreshingly lovely peridot green crystal quartz with precise bezel faceting.  This measures a lovely 20mm x 15mm.  Added to this is a cluster of peach moonstone, peridot, pinjk topaz and smokey quartz.  To this refreshing combo I've introduced a peach tone rectangle rock crystal quartz.  Precise and fine faceting, these rectangular pillows measure 12mm x 9mm.

Delicate crystal quartz embedded ear wires bring this creation to a 5cm drop.

Almost etheral, these beautiful brios are faceted white druzyt and I've kept the whole arrangement 'soft' by using faceted natural blue chalcedony, tanzanite, pink and purple amethyst and iolite rondells in shades of lavender, lilac and blue.

A walk thru' a field of heather and hardy geraniums, and then looking a little beyond bunches of hydrangeas ........Pale mauve lentils with violet and white flowers and a sprinkling of gold faerie dust. Except for the frames which are pewter, all other metal components - pins, beads, earwires are in 14k goldfill. The hydrangea cluster is made up of czech glass rounds.

This deserves a day time retake. Lightweight yet outstanding at 3cm long these banded agate teardrops separated by goldfill beads and moonstone smooth nuggets. Worth drooling over so I spent the whole evening just fingering the stones before assembling them into a necklace. The necklace measures 15.5" in total length and ends with a 14k goldfill toggle too.

Sometimes we meet a person for the first time and immediately we're struck by an affinity that comes from within. These puffy pink facetted chalcedony teardrops have that exact same quality. I can't find the words to describe what I feel when I look at them but they have a certain quality that makes me just want to hold them and admire them. I've added a dash of mystique with the 3 facetted iolite rondells which are more lavender than azure.
Dropping approx 4 cm from the curve of the goldfilled earwires to the base of the chalcedony this is a pair that I'd keep for the "want to feel good days".

These are in so many ways worth much more than the $ value attached to them.

A graceful 14k goldfilled vine sprouting multicoloured amethyst blooms. All the gemstones are facetted and I've chosen 3 different shapes and colours. Topping the vine is a deep purple amethyst bloom, a lovely green amethyst is in the centre and the largest bloom is a faceted coin shape pink amethyst. Goldfilled chain measures 16" including the goldfilled toggle. Vine drop is approx 3" Imagine this blooming fine gold tendril laying coquettishly across your chest.

I'm really flat out tonight. This photo of the bracelet is such a disappointment. In reality this is a beautiful set of marquis cut faceted citrine gems separated by faceted goldfilled beads and tubes and ending with a goldfilled toggle. I will redo this tomorrow morning I've got tonnes of mail to read and respond to but I will hold off till tomorrow too as I'm really, really tired. This heat is a killer!

Another 14k goldfilled arrangement. A goldfilled teardrop shaped frame is the centerpoint around which I've crafted the pendant. Inside the frame is an onion shape bio topaz - sage with traces of smokey quartz - at the top of the teardrop frame are 3 faceted light turquoise apatite stones.
